Janus Geminus worked for the IRS. A meek and clumsy pencil pusher, he was constantly berated for his meagre abilities and steady foul-ups. While outwardly not showing any signs of anger at the criticism, he secretly harboured daydreams of revenge. Fortunately Janus’ dreams could not be realized… At least not until Energy X came along. While hurrying to work, late yet again, he was stuck by a stray bolt of the mysterious force. It granted him the power to bend the flow of time for a limited amount, in the area around him.
Using his newfound powers he tried to get the retribution he craved, but was swiftly defeated by the passing Blackbird. Thus began his spiral into a life of crime.
